Rocking Out At Hard Rock Hotel Cancun

While on vacation here in Cancun I had the pleasure of spending two days at the newest Hard Rock Hotel.  Hard Rock Hotel Cancun is so alive it rocks!!!!  The vibrant colors, rock band, singers and stautes that adorn the lobby area make it really hard to envision this was once the quiet but chic Cancun Palace Resort.  Although, the resort is still under going some renovations guest including myself didn’t seem to mind.  The house DJ at the main pool had guest pumped up and partying on Friday and the Live Mexican Band was so good on Saturday that guest thought it was the DJ spinning……lol.  Upon my arrival on Friday afternoon I was greeted at the lobby area with a scented washcloth and welcome cocktail.

In May of this year I also had the opportunity to visit Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, although the resort in Punta Cana is much larger with more pools, lounges and a full casino.  For me I like a more smaller resort both resorts have “Rock Star” luxury, it’s the intimacy of Hard Rock Cancun that has won me over. Guest still receive free WiFi, free calls to anywhere in the US and Canada, mini bar in the room, refrigerator stocked with water, juices and soda. I was glad to see that Hard Rock Cancun has three of the restaurants as Hard Rock Punta Cana Ciao, Zen and Ipanema with Zen being my favorite.  Although, I had the most delicious, authentic chicken and shrimp fajita from the Mexican Grille.  My dinner at Zen was just as I thought it would be an entertaining delightful, dining experience. Our Chef Arc Angel gave us a great food show while preparing our meal and the bartendar mixed up a sweet tasting Sakitini.  A 5 night stay at Hard Rock Cancun in a Deluxe Room category starts from $891.50pp (land only) in low season and $1,244.30pp (land only) in high season.
